May 19, 2009
Greenville, SC and Charlotte, NC:
The Global Trade Consortium and AmeriStart today announced that they have entered into a cooperative agreement to assist Asian and European companies in entering the USA market.
Both companies have long served the needs of international businesses. GTC specializes in procurement and distribution of foreign-made goods, while AmeriStart primarily provides US-based sales and customer service for non-US companies.
Together the two companies will offer turn-key market entry and market development services across the United States. Asian and European companies now have an easy way to quickly and profitably begin operating in the USA
“Foreign companies that want to enter the USA need a spectrum of services,” says David Worrell, CFO of AmeriStart, from the company’s Charlotte office. “Together GTC and AmeriStart have a complete offering, from importing and logistics services to on-the-street sales and marketing support.”
“AmeriStart’s expertise in sales and marketing perfectly complements our product and operations focus,” says Vivian Wong, CEO and founder of Global Trade Consortium. “GTC brings over 300,000 square feet of warehouse, distribution, and assembly space in a Foreign Free Trade Zone, plus a worldwide distribution network.”
The companies presented their offering to a welcoming audience at the WindPower 2009 exposition in Chicago, May 5-7.
