Global Scientist Collaborate to Bring to USA New Treatments for Chronic Skin Problems

Charlotte, NC:  Scientists in Israel and China have developed topical formulations for the treatment of chronic, problematic skin conditions such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, acne, eczema, seborrhea, and more.  The products, sold by the Israeli company Kamedis, are unique among skin products in that it is a botanical formulation based on the principles of Chinese medicine.  Kamedis products are now available in the United States through a new agreement with the Charlotte based company, AmeriStart.  Click here to read more

YMCA Corporate Cup

For the 30th year in a row, the Childress Klein YMCA and surrounding business community celebrated healthy competition  - all while giving back to the community through Community Outreach programs! The corporate cup consists of a half marathon and 5K race.

Several employees from AmeriStart attended and took part in this year's corporate cup.  They formed a team called "The Road Warriors" and ran throughout the streets of Charlotte, North Carolina. Habitat for Humanity

Date: January 31, 2009

Due to increasing land prices and the scarcity of available land, Habitat Charlotte started researching ways that would allow the organization to best use its resources and serve more families at the same time.  Since this project was a success, Habitat Charlotte plans to integrate townhouse projects into its new construction model.  The organization is currently working on a second project in the Citiside neighborhood.

Habitat Charlotte held a dedication ceremony for its first ever townhouse unit on Saturday, March 7.  The four unit townhouse is located off Drury Drive in east Charlotte.  There were a few of AmeriStart employees who attended and took part in building this townhouse.  The volunteers included Heidi Hillyard, Marketing Manager, Jim Worrell, CEO, Guy Worth, CSO, and Jonathan Mark, Account Manager.
